in preparation for a personal
consecration
Sacred
Heart of Jesus and Immaculate
Heart of Mary, I want to consecrate
and commit myself to you personally.
Help me in this time of preparation
to better understand your extraordinary
love for me and to return this
love with a deeper life of prayer
and a better Christian life.
I will gladly pray the rosary
and worship the Blessed Sacrament.
I will try to do my best to
be more faithful to the Gospel
and to the commandments of God
and of the Church, especially
the commandment to love God
and my neighbour.
I will participate more actively
in the sacrifice of the Mass
and observe the first Fridays
and Saturdays of each month.
Full of trust I seek refuge
in the shelter of your loving
hearts.
Protect me in all dangers
and after my pilgrimage on earth
is over, take me to my eternal
home in Heaven. Amen.
